Jeff Robinson was born and raised in the 2nd district of Muncie. He attended Anthony and Storer Elementary Schools, Northside Middle School, and Muncie Central.
In 1996, Jeff became an EMT for both Albany and Delaware County EMS, until he enrolled at Ball State University in 2002, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the top-rated College of Communication, Information, and Media.
He spent the next four years working for the former Backyard Broadcasting group of radio stations (WLBC, ESPN 1070AM) as an Account Executive, and as Marketing Director of Anderson Speedway, before finding his true calling – promoting his hometown – at the Muncie Visitors Bureau in 2010.
Since then, Jeff has worked tirelessly in service to and in promotion of the Muncie Community. In addition to his work at the Muncie Visitors Bureau, Jeff has worked at the Horizon Convention Center, traveling the state and country promoting the city of Muncie as a destination for meetings and conferences. Recognizing his successful approach, Cornerstone Center for the Arts created the position of “Director of Community Relations” to hire him and better connect the organization to the city it serves.
Since then, he has been promoted to the role of Associate Executive Director at Cornerstone and continues to proudly serve in that position today.
Jeff’s objective in each of these positions has been to leverage the resources of the organization to benefit the overall Muncie community, and he has done so with great success.
In addition to serving the community through his employers, Jeff has also volunteered for many local organizations, including:
Muncie/Delaware County Chamber of Commerce Image Committee, tasked with improving the overall image of Muncie/Delaware County.
The Star Press Editorial Board, where he encouraged an editorial direction that promoted the positive things happening in our city.
